The Pipe Major, in Yewtree Avenue, was reopened on June 21 by the Dagenham Girl Pipers and a local scout group, following a £309,000 transformation.
The pub was shut for less than a month for its revamp, and has now been separated into two areas: a “lively, sport-loving” bar and a “cosy, family-focused” lounge.

Photos show the new sports bar area with a pool table and two large 4K screens in either corner, as well as some higher tables with stools in the corner.

The bright chairs and wallpaper in the lounge area are also captured in the images, with a fireplace and another large TV at the head of the room.

The boozer also has a daily carvery, and the serving area can also be seen in the centre, partitioned off from the lounge section.
After the reopening, pub general manager Hayden Leavers said the team were “absolutely thrilled” to welcome customers back through the doors.
He said: “The response so far has been amazing, people love the new look, and we’ve already seen the space in full swing with quiz nights, sport screenings, and plenty of friendly faces back at the bar.”
