The north London area ranked highest in a list of the best places to live for families in 2025, based on factors such as average monthly rent, access to green spaces, and cost of living.
Barnet achieved a family-friendly score of 6.8 out of 10.
It was noted for having one of the lowest crime rates in London, as well as boasting the highest number of soft play areas (225), 16 libraries, and the most primary and secondary schools combined (182).
Enfield and Hackney also made it into the top ten, both scoring 5.4 out of 10 and tying for ninth and tenth places on the list.
The City of Westminster came in second place, with a score of 6 out of 10, while Croydon was third with 5.9.
Bromley and Southwark took fourth and fifth places, scoring 5.8 and 5.7, respectively.
The study was carried out by estate agents Making Moves, who analysed various factors to determine the best London boroughs for families to live in 2025.
This included the number of open jobs paying over £40,000, the amount of child-friendly places to eat, and the number of parks and playgrounds.
