At one of London’s poshest and most expensive bars, the price of a cocktail starts at £25, and its priciest is set at an eye-watering £41.
The Coburg Bar inside The Connaght hotel is world-renowned for offering a one-of-a-kind experience that is unlike any other bar.
The posh bar shares that it offers “rows of premium spirits and rare vintages, glimmering in the soft light” and “armchairs that invite you to stay for just one more.”
London’s poshest bar where a pint costs £12
The Coburg Bar adds that it has a “warm, quiet and intimate atmosphere” filled with “the traditions of The Connaught.”
However, if you want to experience the Coburg Bar for yourself, it will cost you.
If your go-to drink is a pint of beer, expect to pay upwards of £10, with the Hofmeister ‘Heeles’ Lager and the Curious IPA both set at £10.50.
But, they are not the most expensive pints on offer at the Coburg Bar, as a Dubh Special Reserve 18 costs £12, with the drink described as a “special stout” that has been “rested in oak casks, that used to mature Highland Park 12yo Single Malt whisky.”

If you’re not a beer drinker, then the Coburg has plenty of other options to enjoy, including cocktails like the Mai Tai at £25 and the gin-based En Terrase for £29.
However, it’s the £41 Volcano cocktail that is the real star of the show.
The Volcano was created to mark the 200th anniversary of The Connaught and takes inspiration from the Coburg Bar’s fireplace.
As the bar shares: “For centuries, it [fireplace] has been a true symbol of home for many of our guests and bartenders.”
Adding that the Volcano is a “twist of a classic Manhattan with woody and spicy notes”, which does sound very appealing.

Of course, the Coburg Bar also has a wide range of wine on the menu, with a glass of red (125ml) between £50 and £950.
You can also enjoy some white wine, with a 175ml glass, starting at £24 rising to £40, or you can enjoy a 125ml glass of Montrachet Grand Cru for £185.
Although the posh London bar comes with a price, many say it’s worth it, as one guest took to Tripadvisor to share: “An excellent evening. The atmosphere was perfect and really cosy.”
