The first incident happened at 3pm on Tuesday, November 11 at Marble Arch Underground station.
A woman was coming down the escalator near platform one when she passed a man who slapped her in the face before shouting at her.
He then got on a train and left.
Around 10 minutes later, a woman was with her family, including her children, on a train at Lancaster Gate.
According to police, a man approached and shouted at her before slapping her hard across the face.
Both victims are being supported, and officers have spoken to witnesses.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Violent offences, especially those targeting women and girls, will absolutely not be tolerated and we will do everything we can to identify offenders and bring them to justice.”
Officers believe the man in the image could have information that may help the investigation.
