The five fatal incidents between January 12 and 16 are only those reported by Newsquest London and are not thought to be related in any way.
They include the first fatal stabbing reported by Newsquest London in 2026.
Boy stabbed to death in London was ‘most beautiful soul’ with ‘so much love to give’
On Monday (January 12), 18-year-old college student Maliki Sharma was stabbed to death in Feltham.
The teenager was found injured on Victoria Road at around 5pm and died later at the scene.
His family have described him as a “devoted son and brother” with a smile that “could light up a room” and kindness that “left a lasting mark on everyone he met”.

A GoFundMe has been set up for the family who have been “left facing a pain no words can ease”.
Two 16-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of an offensive weapon. They have been released on bail.
Rhys Huskinson, 19, was due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court yesterday (January 15) charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon after he allegedly assaulted a 16-year-old boy.
Woman dies after fire spreads in supported living flat block
The next day (January 13) a woman died days after she was rescued from a fire at a supported living block in Chiswick.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on Brooks Road in Chiswick last Friday (January 9) at around 4.30pm.
The woman was rescued from the flat by firefighters and taken to hospital, where she died four days later.
Four other people were also rescued from neighbouring flats and they were taken to hospital as a precaution for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Motorbike rider, 20s, dies after ‘crashing into barrier’ in Catford
That same day, a man died after the motorbike he was riding crashed in Catford.
The emergency services were called to Canadian Avenue at around 6pm.

Paramedics and the air ambulance attended but the rider of the motorbike – a man in his 20s – died at the scene.
Officers believe the motorbike crashed into a road barrier.
Elderly lady dies after being hit by lorry on popular school route
The next day (January 14), officers were called after an elderly woman was knocked down by a lorry in Kensington.
The incident happened on Holland Road – a route popular with students from nearby Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School – at around 3pm.

Officers attended and a woman in her 70s was found fighting for her life and later died at the scene.
No arrests have been made and a police investigation is underway.
Neighbours ‘shocked’ after ‘really sweet’ couple, 90, die in Barnet house fire
On Friday (January 16), firefighters were called to a second fire that claimed the lives of an elderly couple in Barnet.
A man and woman, both 90, were treated by paramedics after the fire at around 1.30am on Albemarle Road – but both died at the scene.
A resident of Albemarle Road described the residents of 50 years: “They were a really sweet couple. Lovely people.”
She added: “We’re a quiet, quite suburban road, and nothing like that ever really happens here, so everyone’s quite shocked.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is being led by the London Fire Brigade alongside the Met Police.
