The incident happened outside the Gardeners Arms pub in London Road just before 6am today (October 16).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a person injured.
They were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where their condition is unknown.
We have contacted Metropolitan Police for further information.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 5.58am today (16 October) to reports of a collision on London Road, Mitcham.
“We sent resources, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager.
“We treat a patient at the scene and took them to a local hospital as a priority.”
