According to new research by Mogo Farm, a UK-based functional mushroom brand, London ranked fifth on the list of worst cities to maintain wellbeing in the winter.
As temperatures drop and residents spend more time indoors battling colds, the UK has seen another superflu sweeping the country.
The company analysed key health and lifestyle indicators such as air quality, pollution, population density, flu vaccination rates, self-reported health, and average sick days to determine the rankings.
Mogo Farm identified that only 43.48 per cent of eligible Londoners are vaccinated against the flu.
Doncaster ranked worst, with Wolverhampton coming second, Manchester third and Bradford fourth.
Oxford, Cambridge and Dundee are the three best cities for winter wellbeing.
Nonetheless, London still ranked high for residents reporting being in ‘good’ or ‘very good’ health, with 81.9 per cent of residents saying they felt well, while an average of four sick days per Londoner is reported each year.
Many Brits are currently battling colds, flu and winter blues.
