Emergency services were called to Lodge Avenue at around 10.45am today (January 5) after reports of a crash at the junction with Rosedale Road.
An ambulance crew and paramedic were sent to the scene, where they treated one patient.
While their injuries were “minor”, the patient was also taken to hospital, the London Ambulance Service (LAS) said.
A spokesperson for the LAS said: “We were called at 10.45am today (5 January) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Lodge Avenue and Rosedale Road, Dagenham.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car to the scene.
“We treated one patient for minor injuries and took them to hospital.”
The Metropolitan Police has also been contacted about this incident but has not yet responded.
