Lewisham Council has received multiple proposals, including significant changes to properties in Chinbrook Road, Newlands Park, and Boveney Road, among others.

At 79 Chinbrook Road, an application has been submitted to alter the previously approved plans from 2019.

The proposal seeks to convert two one-bedroom flats into two two-bedroom flats and to change an approved three-bedroom flat into a two-bedroom flat.

In Newlands Park, an old place of worship and disused ground floor storage at number 106 are earmarked for conversion into health studios.

Additionally, the first floor is set to be transformed into four self-contained studio flats, with plans for a new window and side dormer.

Kingswear House on Dartmouth Road is also seeking adjustments to its prior approval from March 2023.

The changes involve removing conditions related to sound insulation and boundary treatments.

Several proposals have been made concerning properties in conservation areas.

At 73 Boveney Road, there are plans for a rear roof extension and two front roof lights.

Blackheath Junior School, located on Wemyss Road, has submitted an application to replace its current roof lantern with a double-glazed aluminium version.

Meanwhile, 10 Orchard Road is looking to alter its front garden and boundary treatment.

The changes include creating a new ramped access, a vehicle crossover for a front driveway, and the addition of hard and soft landscaping.

At 7 Brockley Gardens, there are plans for a rear dormer extension and a replacement rear single-storey extension.

Changes have also been proposed for 7 Tremaine Close, with the demolition of the existing garage to make way for a two-storey side extension, a single-storey rear extension, and a rear roof extension.

The plans also include alterations to the front porch and replacement of windows and doors.

In the Culverley Green Conservation Area, 34 Peak Hill has applied for replacement front windows, while 34 Bromley Road is looking for alteration and conversion to provide four self-contained flats, along with the installation of roof lights.

31 Barcary Road has applied for replacement windows.

In the Hither Green Conservation Area, 27 Houndson Road plans to construct a single-storey infill extension with roof lights.

St. John’s Conservation Area has seen two applications for Chudleigh Road.

Number 62 and number 65 are both seeking to replace windows, roof lights, and doors to the front and rear, and add a side window.

In the Telegraph Hill Conservation Area, 50 Amersham Road has proposed alterations to the front garden, including new railings, a pathway, and a bicycle store.

Meanwhile, 15 Trundleys Road plans to construct a hip-to-gable roof extension, a rear dormer with a Juliet balcony, and front roof lights.

All applications and submitted drawings are available for inspection on the Lewisham Planning website.

Residents wishing to make representations or objections are encouraged to email planning@lewisham.gov.uk stating the application they wish to view.

Alternatively, they can write to the planning department at Laurence House, 1 Catford Road, London, SE6 4RU.

The deadline for responses is 21 days from the publication of the notice.

These planning applications, if approved, will bring significant changes to the respective areas, impacting both the landscape and the community.
