Lee Valley Riding Centre has launched the British Horse Society (BHS) Pony Stars Junior Challenge Awards for children under 12.
The programme, designed by the BHS, is aimed at helping children to develop their riding skills and deepen their knowledge of pony care and stable management.
The programme consists of over 100 activities that cover grooming, tack, and more, all with the aim of boosting confidence and personal growth.
Each participant receives a ‘My Challenge Book’ to track their progress and celebrate milestones.
Children earn stickers, badges, and rosettes as they complete challenges within four themed groups, allowing for long-term progression.
Nicola Ward, general manager at Lee Valley Riding Centre, said: “Whether your child is just starting out or already has experience in the saddle, Pony Stars offers a flexible, confidence-building path where every child can shine at their own pace.”
Lee Valley Riding Centre, a BHS approved centre managed by GLL, offers a range of equestrian facilities, including indoor and outdoor arenas, show jumping, cross country courses, and a 5* livery service.
