Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called at 11.57am today (January 26) with reports of a stabbing in Leamouth Road.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were also dispatched to the scene, where a man was found suffering from stab wounds.
People in the area reported seeing the London’s Air Ambulance, a charity known for helping treat the city’s most seriously ill patients, hovering nearby.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

His condition has been described as non-life threatening at this stage.
A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and taken into custody.
A knife has been recovered from the scene, with cordons remaining in place whilst police enquiries continue.
