The Metropolitan Police has been out in force in Launders Lane this morning (October 18).
Two vans have been seen blocking the entrance to the road at the junction with New Road.
Aerial footage has captured a large group of plain clothed officers gathered a short distance up the lane, with an area of land cordoned off with tape.

The land surrounded by the tape separates New Road from Launders Lane.
Two police vehicles could also be seen in the footage parked in a nearby car park.
The nature of the incident is not clear at this stage, and we have contacted the emergency services for more details.
