Lathaniel, 16, died at the scene after being attacked in Paradise Road near Stockwell Tube station on March 4.
The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at Bromley Youth Court today (March 12).
Omar Prempeh, 32, has also been charged with murder in relation to the investigation.
He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday and is to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.
