Labyrinth on the Thames will be the first of its kind and will take place at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich.
The event will take place on the first two weekends of August and will be dedicated to contemporary dance music produced by High Scream, the creative powerhouse behind the Paris 2024 Olympics closing ceremony.
The event will be open-air and will welcome 60,000 attendees over the six days.
Michael Dicks and Nick Castleman, co-founders of Labyrinth, said: “We’re beyond excited to be announcing Labyrinth on The Thames.
“Finding new, exciting spaces to bring artists and fans together, is what drives us, day in, day out.
“It’s been a multi-year process to bring this project to life and it’s a dream come true for us all at Labyrinth to see this announcement go live.
“We can’t wait to see you all on the edge of the Thames this summer and are hugely grateful to Old Royal Naval College for their collaboration.”
The event taking place along the edge of the River Thames will be framed by the London skyline across the afternoon and evening until 11pm.
As well as music, Labyrinth will also roll out initiatives to ensure the local Greenwich community directly benefits from the event.
This will include priority tickets for residents, partnerships with local suppliers, and collaborations with cultural institutions on opportunities for emerging talent and young people.
Kate Miners, director of public engagement and commercial at the Old Royal Naval College, said: “We are proud to host Labyrinth on the Thames at the iconic Old Royal Naval College, an event that not only celebrates music and art but also offers a unique opportunity to experience the prestige of Greenwich’s rich heritage in a contemporary and dynamic way.
“Bringing together the past and present, this extraordinary event highlights the Old Royal Naval College as a place where history and culture continue to inspire and connect people.”
The first headline acts will be announced tomorrow, building anticipation for a fearlessly curated lineup featuring global icons and emerging talents alike.
