Knoll Rise Orpington: Man in 60s dies unexpectedly

Emergency services were called to Knoll Rise in Orpington.

A man in his 60s was found unconscious, he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Metropolitan Police has confirmed that his death is being treated as “unexpected”.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “At 09:30hrs on Sunday, 08 June, police were called to Knoll Rise, Orpington.

“On arrival, they found a man in his 60s unconscious and despite efforts from officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, he was pronounced dead.

“His death is being treated as unexpected, and file will be prepared for the coroner.

“His next-of-kin have been informed.”
