Multiple police vehicles were spotted in Hillhouse Road near Kirby Road just after 9.15am today (March 13).
A spokesperson for Kent Police has confirmed that a bomb disposal team are also in attendance.
Pictures, obtained by the News Shopper, shows Hillhouse Road cordoned off with several officers at the scene.

Residents have been evacuated from their homes as the incident is being dealt with.
We have contacted South East Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue for further information.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was contacted at 9.18am on Thursday 13 March 2025, following the discovery of suspected wartime ordnance in Kirby Road, Dartford.
“Officers are at the scene where a cordon is in place and nearby residents have been evacuated.
“A Ministry of Defence bomb disposal team are also in attendance.”
