The road is shut both ways near the North London Tavern today (January 5), with police at the scene.
AA Roadwatch reports this is due to an “emergency services incident”.
Bus routes including the 16, 32, 189, 316 and N32 are being diverted from the area.
However according to community group Life in Kilburn, it appears that police have also cordoned off another section of the road, near The Old Bell pub which is roughly 0.7 miles – or an estimated 15 minute walk – away from the other crime scene in place.
While there are online rumours about the circumstances of both crime scenes, the nature of these incidents have not been confirmed at this time.
The Brent & Kilburn Times is working to establish what has happened and both the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
