Keston and Chislehurst Allseasons Paw Park for dogs

Allseasons Paw Park runs two venues in Keston — one a standard enclosed field, the other a newly opened safari-themed site — as well as the Allseasons Paddle Park in Chislehurst.

The Keston Safari Park, located just off Shire Lane, officially opened in May and has already welcomed dozens of four-legged visitors for off-lead adventures.

The original Keston Paw Park, based at the same BR6 7HH postcode, offers a more traditional enclosed field layout for general use and training, providing a secure open space for dogs to run freely.

Meanwhile, the company’s Paddle Park in Chislehurst (BR7 6HL) is a specialist splash area providing low-impact exercise for dogs who need to cool off, build confidence, or recover gently from injury.

Behind all three projects is local resident and dog owner Sam Jenkins, who co-founded the business with his cousin Lewis Day.

Sam, who lives in Orpington, explained that he was raised in a family where dogs were always part of the picture.

Sam told the News Shopper:

“We grew up with Rottweilers, actually. Really sloppy dogs. They often get a lot of stick, but they’re the nicest dogs. Everybody’s got dogs in our family.I remember our grandparents having a specific place they took their dogs.”

Sam and his partner Beth now share their home with two dachshunds, Paco and Peanut, who have quickly become the unofficial mascots of Allseasons.

“They really are hilarious.Beth is in love with them. Honestly, she baked a birthday cake for one of them the other week.”

The pair frequently appear in promotional videos and social media posts, often seen splashing in the Paddle Park or sniffing through the safari trails.

The parks have also become a valuable resource for owners of XL bullies, particularly in the wake of the government’s breed-specific legislation.

Sam said:

“Because of our past with Rottweilers, we know they’re such nice dogs. Every dog needs to be able to go out.You can’t have a 30-degree day and the dog has to sit indoors all day.”

While the secure nature of the parks makes them suitable for a wide range of dogs, Sam noted that the facilities offer a safe, private alternative for responsible owners of restricted breeds — one that ensures dogs get the exercise and stimulation they need without risk to others.

He added:

“There’s probably another 10 or so reasons that people walk their dogs there — from the fact they’ve just had a puppy they want to train, or dogs that don’t have great recall, dogs that might be aggressive or others that have been attacked and are nervous around other dogs.”

The Paddle Park in Chislehurst offers additional benefits for dogs who struggle with heat or mobility.

Set up as an outdoor splash pool, it gives pets the chance to stay cool and active during warmer months.

Sam explained:

“There’s all that health around dogs with arthritis, hip dysplasia, that kind of stuff.A massive benefit of the pool is that on a hot day. It’s really good for dogs when it’s too hot for them to walk. They’re still getting their exercise in but staying cool at the same time.”

The Keston Safari site features a themed layout with wooded trails, mulched paths and Tiki huts for shaded rest.

Owners are encouraged to sit back and relax while their dogs roam freely in a fully enclosed space.

He said:

“The point of this place is: the owner walks in, closes the gate, and there’s absolutely no risk. There’s no worry about the dog running away. You walk in, sit on the bench, do what you want to do, and the dog can go where it wants to go.”

For those unsure whether their dog would enjoy the experience, Sam encouraged people to book a session and try it out.

Sam said:

“Come just for the fun. We’ve made sure that we keep it affordable so that everybody can go — £10.You’re not going to find anywhere that’s as beautiful, where you are on your own and you can guarantee that there’s all these features in a really stunning setting.”

Each session at the parks is completely private, meaning visitors have exclusive use of the space for the full 55 minutes, with no other dogs or owners on site.

This allows individuals, families or small groups to enjoy the facilities at their own pace, with space for up to five dogs per booking.

Sessions at all three parks are available to book online, and each visit includes a buffer period to ensure dogs arrive and leave safely.
