Officers were called to Rhyl Street in Kentish Town last week Saturday (November 1), to reports of a man climbing in through a window.
A suspect was later stopped a short distance away based on the description from a witness.
He was arrested on suspicion of burglary, with further checks revealing that he was wanted for several other alleged burglaries on Haverstock Hill, South End Road, Kentish Town Road and in Westminster.
The man was also wanted on recall to prison and found in possession of a knife.
This arrest comes as part of police targeting criminals in the area.
Within the last week, patrols in Ferdinand Place, Chalk Farm, ended up in a 37-year-old being stopped and searched.
Inside his car, police found a large snap-bag containing 11 smaller snaps with a white powder substance inside.
Another bag was found with 100 unidentified green tablets.
He was arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences.
