Transport for London (TfL) has informed people living near the station that essential work will be carried out from January 16 this year and won’t be complete until summer 2027.
It’s estimated that this could take roughly 18 months.
According to TfL, commuters may face minor delays at times – particularly stations between Stanmore and Willesden Green – due to the materials being delivered to the track via Lowther Road.
TfL said in a letter to residents: “At various times we will need to marshal large vehicles into and out of Lowther Road, which may cause minor delays to some journeys.
“Once works get underway, some noise from site is expected.
“We will take every possible step to minimise any disturbance to our neighbours, including only working during the day.”
The letter also explained that the works are “critical” to the “continued safe operation” of the Jubilee line.
