The event will take place on Monday, September 15.
The journals were penned by Henry Sharpe and have now been edited for publication by Helen Lawrence, who will introduce the journal with an illustrated talk at 7.30pm.

Sharpe moved to Hampstead in 1841, where he became an active member of the community and showed a particular interest in education.
The journal is described as opening a “fascinating window” on 1840s London, providing fresh information about “missing detail and forgotten bits of Hampstead history”.
Visitors at the launch will be able to purchase the book at a special price of £25.
The event welcomes all interested members of the public.
