The International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network (IJAN) and the Jewish Network for Palestine (JNP) are returning to hold their protests in Swiss Cottage this evening (May 2) after being moved to Kings Cross in March.
Opposing pro-Israel groups have organised a counter protest.
The IJAN and JNP demonstrations began on October 20, two weeks after the Hamas terror attack on October 7, 2023.
Their focus was initially the residence of Israeli ambassador Tzipi Hotovely, an ally of Benjamin Netanyahu who opposes a two-state solution including Palestine.
The Metropolitan Police imposed tough new conditions on the groups in March following complaints.
A spokesperson for Scotland Yard, said: “Met Police are aware of the groups intentions to hold a protest in Swiss Cottage on Friday, May 2.
“We are carefully considering a policing plan including any conditions which may be required, acknowledging the cumulative impact of protests, particularly on the Jewish community, over the past 18 months.”
