Born in 1987, English actor and model James Farrar was born in Greenwich and trained at the University of Portsmouth before gaining national recognition in the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks and later the BBC soap EastEnders.
James portrayed Liam Gilmore from 2011 to 2013 in Hollyoaks but is perhaps best known for his current portrayal of Zack in EastEnders.
James was cast as Zack Hudson in 2021, and his character has since been involved in numerous storylines.
His character is the estranged half-brother of Sharon Watts.
His storylines include a turbulent relationship with Nancy Carter (Maddy Hill) and a clash with her father, Mick (Danny Dyer).
