Born in Bexley in 1992, English actress Jacqueline Jossa trained at D&B Theatre School in Bromley before gaining national recognition in the BBC soap EastEnders.

Jacqueline left the show in 2017 and made on-and-off appearances until 2023 when she returned permanently.
In 2024, Jacqueline’s character was involved in numerous storylines, including being framed for drug trafficking, reuniting with Peter Beale (played by Thomas Law), feuding with her mother-in-law Cindy Beale (played by Michelle Collins), sleeping with Whitney Dean’s fiancée Zack Hudson (played by James Farrar), being injured during a crowd crush, and exposing the ongoing affair between Cindy and Junior Knight (played by Micah Balfour).
Jacqueline’s character was a suspect in the “Who Attacked Cindy?” storyline.
As well as EastEnders, Jacqueline appeared in the 19th series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2019.
Jacqueline went on to win and be crowned Queen of the Jungle and kept that title until 2022 due to the years in between taking place in Wales and the winners being crowned King or Queen of the Castle.
Throughout her career, Jacqueline has won four awards, including the Best Newcomer in the National Television Awards in 2012 and the Best Actress in the Inside Soap Awards in 2013.
