The Bright Horizons Floral Place Day Nursery and Preschool will welcome back children in September 2025.
The facelift involves a full internal renovation, along with the creation of a separate area for toddlers, previously combined with the preschool space.
This change aims to provide “more tailored activities and learning experiences”.
The redesign aligns with Bright Horizons’ “Nurture Approach,” focusing on a warm, familiar environment.
The nursery will feature neutral tones, natural wood finishes, and specially selected child-friendly furniture.
The new toddler room will boast low-level shelving and open storage units to promote independence, as well as cosy corners with soft furnishings for rest.
Tom Browne, regional director for the London and East Division of Bright Horizons, said: “We’re so excited to be reopening the doors to Floral Place very soon.
“Once the refurbishment is complete, the setting will have a refreshed new look and feel.
“We want to create a vibrant, inspiring space where children can thrive and our team can deliver exceptional care and education.”
This reopening in Islington arrives at a crucial time for working parents looking to secure funding, as the UK government offers various funded childcare schemes to support families with nursery-aged children.
