Priscilla Silcock, known on stage as Sapphira, has invited the community to join her world record attempt from her studio near Holloway on Sunday, April 27.
The event aims to break the record of 155 people, which Sapphira co-ordinated last year.
The record attempt follows World Burlesque Day on Saturday, April 26, which was originally created to elevate the links between burlesque and mental health.
A percentage of proceeds from the record bid will go to SANE, a charity working to improve the quality of life for anyone affected by mental illness.
Sapphira supports the Islington-based charity and has raised £750 over the years to help its services.

The event will also honour the late Hilda Green, 100, from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, who once danced in Paris cabarets.
Priscilla will be joined by co-hosts Shabba Blue Rose, owner of Cologne Pole Fitness and Blue Rose Academy in Germany, Nathaly Bernadotte, owner of Concepcion Burlesque Academy in Chile, as well as dance groups across England.
She said: “Everyone aged 18-plus is invited to try a fun and easy workplace-appropriate burlesque dance from the comfort of home.
“We have participants from Chile, Mexico, Finland and New Zealand already signed up but there is room for more so please feel welcome to join us.”
