The updated menu includes an expansion of the grilled starters section, with new additions such as the Chicken Chop and Kasundi Prawns.
The prawn dish is marinated in mustard and yellow chilli, served with tomato, chilli, and garlic chutney.
The curries section also sees new additions, with the Makrut Lime Prawn and Malvani Fish Curry.
The biryanis have been updated too, with options now including Chicken Tikka or Wild Mushroom.
These can be complemented with a variety of breads and sides, including Indian Salad and Tandoor Roasted Aubergine.
The restaurant has also introduced barbecues, available Thursday to Sunday on the outside terrace, where a selection of marinated dishes are grilled to order.
Kokum has also put effort into its drinks selection, creating a cocktail list including options like the Pink Peppercorn Old Fashioned and Chocolate Orange Negroni.
The 86-seater restaurant, which includes a private dining room for 24 and an outside terrace, aims to create a chic and contemporary space with an earthy colour palette.
The restaurant, situated in a leafy part of south-east London, has been described as a place where “ambitious cooking is complemented with a chic interior and warm welcome where exceptional service is guaranteed”.
A statement from the restaurant said: “New for high summer and early autumn is Kokum’s revised menu which builds on their most popular picks whilst maintaining a succinct menu that is easy to navigate and includes a trusted selection of classic dishes.
“Kokum is a chic and contemporary space where an earthy colour palette is interspersed with pops of colour reminiscent of India’s vibrant landscapes.”
