Nittyo Bazaar Ltd, in High Road, was ordered to pay almost £1,400 in court fines and costs for failing to store its commercial waste properly.
The shop was flagged by London Fire Brigade for its waste storage, prompting a visit from a Redbridge Council enforcement officer.
The council said its officer found large amounts of commercial waste, including loose cardboard, large pallets, and plastic and wooden boxes, outside the shop near a fire exit.

The shop was issued a legal notice under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, specifying conditions for waste storage and management.
The shop’s continued failure to store its commercial waste properly led to a series of unpaid fixed penalty notices.
Nittyo Bazaar Ltd was summoned to appear at Barkingside Magistrates Court on February 18, charged with five offences of failing to comply with an Environmental Protection Act waste management notice.
The company pleaded guilty to one charge – having made late payment to the council for four fixed penalty notices – and ordered to pay a total of £1,395.
Khayer Chowdhury, councillor responsible for enforcement and community safety, said: “We all have a responsibility to keep our borough clean and tidy, and this includes businesses.
“The failure to correctly store commercial waste presents a threat to the environment and public health, as well as being an eyesore for local communities.”
