Data from Rightmove has revealed the most and least happiest places to live across the UK based on a survey of the people from those areas.

Horsham in Sussex ranked high on the score board, ranking in second place for the south east after Maidenhead, and 15th nationally.
Easily reached from London in under an hour via direct trains from Victoria or London Bridge, Horsham offers a more quiet place to live in the Sussex countryside, whilst being easily commutable to London for work and leisure.

The average house price in Horsham could set a would-be homeowner back by £443,585 according to data from Rightmove, with the majority of properties sold being semi-detached houses.
Horsham’s history dates back to the 13th century when it was first established as a market town, and has grown and expanded over the centuries.

Today it’s considered one of Sussex’s most beautiful towns with its mix of timber-framed buildings, Georgian buildings and cobbled streets.
One of the most iconic areas in the town is its Causeway – a series of historic streets made up of Tudor and Georgian buildings which has been heavily photographed on account of its historic charm.

The town still has a reputation for its shopping scene since being established as a market town 700 years ago and is home to a number of independent boutiques and cafes, along with cultural spots like its Pavillion Theatre and Horsham Museum & Art Gallery.
