Augustinas Druskis, 43 of Cranham Road, Hornchurch is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on October 20.
He is charged with murdering his 40-year-old wife Agne Druskienea in a home on Cranham Road.
Police were called to the scene at around 1am on Saturday (October 18).
Officers arrived with paramedics but Agne was pronounced dead at the scene.
Agne’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Druskis was arrested at the scene with Met Police since confirming he was the husband of the victim.
A crime scene was in place with a police cordon and cars blocking Cranham Road.
