Augustinas Druskis, 43 of Cranham Road, Hornchurch, had his first hearing at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court today (October 20).
He is charged with murder after his wife, Agne Druskiene, 40, was stabbed to death in a home on Cranham Road on Saturday (October 18).
Agne was found by paramedics and officers who were called around 1am.
Despite attempts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Druskis, represented by Paul Martin and Co Solicitors, did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody until his next hearing.
He will appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday (October 22) at 10am for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
