Later a woman wearing headphones was walking along the path adjacent to the play area.
She felt a hand grab her bottom and turned round to see a man running away, chased by two other men who had witnessed the sexual assault.
The attacker – Jermaine Campbell, 40, previously of Gavestone Road in Eltham – was caught and detained until police arrived.
At Bromley Magistrates’ Court he was found guilty of sexual assault and exposure.
He then appeared at Woolwich Crown Court for sentencing on Tuesday, August 26.
In a statement the victim said the trauma caused her to leave her job to take time to heal.
Campbell, who had seven previous convictions but none for sexual offending, is described as a vulnerable man with disabilities.
He said he was horny as he hadn’t had sex in six weeks and explained that earlier that day he sought out the services of a sex worker but was robbed.
Campbell had been in prison for six months between his conviction and sentencing.
Judge Christopher Grout gave him a two-year community order including 60 days of rehabilitation activity.
He was also made the subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order banning him from Horn Park for five years.
