Several police cars and ambulances were seen in the area this morning (February 28) just after 10am after reports of an unwell person.
The first paramedic arrived in less than four minutes and medics tried to resuscitate her.
However, she died at the scene.
A forensics tent was seen outside the Moonlight Supermarket as a stretch of the road was cordoned off.
The cordon was removed before 1pm.
Forensic tent at Holloway Road (Image: Alex Marsh / NQ) A short distance away, police shut off Seven Sisters Road, near the junction of Holloway Road due to a reported assault which took place last night (February 27) at 11.35pm.
A 75-year-old man has died today following the incident.
Both police cordons were in place this morning.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said about the Seven Sisters Road incident: “We were called at 9.59am this morning (28 February) to reports of a person unwell in Holloway Road, Islington.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew and an advanced paramedic.
“The first paramedic arrived in less than four minutes.
“The patient sadly died at the scene despite the efforts of our crews to resuscitate her.”
