Amiel, 25, was last seen at 1:45pm on November 2 in Hither Green.
Following previous appeals, a local police chief has made a direct appeal to the public for help in finding the vulnerable man.
Detective Chief Superintendent James Derham, who leads local investigations in Lewisham, said: “I am asking for the public’s help in the search for a missing 25-year-old man.
“Amiel has been missing for over 48 hours, and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“Amiel is a vulnerable young man, who is at risk and is likely to be very distressed at this time.
“He is missing from his home address in Hither Green and was last seen on CCTV in Prince of Wales Road on Sunday, 2 November after 14:15 hours.
“Amiel was last known to be wearing a very distinctive red t-shirt that has the print “Bulls 1” on it, he was also wearing navy or blue knee length shorts with blue and white sliders.
“Amiel is a black man, who is 5’ft3 tall and is of a slim build. He also has short black hair.
“I would urge the public to keep an eye out for him on your commute home tonight, and those that live in the area to check outbuildings and gardens.
“His family and friends remain very concerned for his welfare, and we continue to support them.
“If you see him, we urge for you to dial 999 stating CAD3781/02November.
“We appreciate your assistance in helping us bring Amiel home safely.”
