It follows after Messiah Robb, 20, was stabbed in Bennin Street, near the junction of Hither Green Lane, on Tuesday (October 28) at around 3.20pm.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where he died shortly after.
MP Janet Daby dressed in all black (October 29) at the House of Commons, as she said she wanted to demonstrate her sorrow to the death in her constituency.
While there, she said to Prime Minister Keir Starmer that the community needs reassurance that “knife crime must end”.
Following her visit, she said: “Even one death is one too many.
“Whilst London remains relatively safe compared to other major European cities, far more needs to be done to prevent such appalling crimes from occurring.
“Families and individuals need to feel safe in Lewisham East. I have been meeting and communicating with the police and Lewisham Council to discuss these incidents, and I will continue to do so. I will continue to raise resident concerns about public safety.”

When questioned about the spree of stabbings across London, the Prime Minister responded: “Every single life that’s lost to knife crime devastates communities, and that’s why we’ve banned zombie knives and ninja swords and have strengthen controls on online knife sales.
“Mr Speaker, we are also giving stronger powers for police in our crime and policing bill, which both the Conservatives and Reform voted against.”
In a statement, Messiah’s mother described him as a “bubbly young man” with a “contagious smile that would light up the room”.
Yesterday, the News Shopper reported that it is understood the victim also was a drill rapper called Mojo NP.
It is understood that the rapper has affiliation with the area near Cornmill Gardens in Lewisham.
No arrests have been made at this stage of the investigation.
