Officers attended the two addresses in High Road on Tuesday, April 15, along with Redbridge Council following complaints about persistent anti-social behaviour.
Police had identified one of the properties as being used for suspected illegal sexual activity.
Two women found inside the property were provided with safeguarding advice.
On Thursday, April 24, a closure order was granted banning anyone from entering the premises for a month.
Sgt Stacey-May Laslett, from Ilford’s Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “Safeguarding women is a priority and we will always act quickly on information shared with police.
“We know anti-social behaviour is concerning for the community and can cause distress to local residents, so we will take action and work with the local authority to make our community feel safe.”
The Met said anyone with information about crime or anti-social behaviour can provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
