Hayatt Lounge Restaurant, on Westmoor Street, has had an application submitted for a summary review of its premises licence due to incidents reportedly occurring in and around the venue.
These incidents were noted on specific dates: October 21, 2024, and January 19, April 6, June 30, and July 27, 2025.
The application states that the restaurant, owned by Ms Constanta Alexandra Mateescu, is linked to serious offences.
On its website, Hayatt Lounge says it fuses “multicultural dining with modern day London energy” to create an “entirely new” dining experience.
The premises is licensed for the sale of alcohol, live and recorded music, dance, and similar activities, alongside late-night refreshments.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich Licensing Team is handling the application for the review.
A spokesperson for Hayatt Lounge said it plans to present its response to the review application at the hearing before the Council on August 26.
Residents and interested parties had until today to submit comments or representations regarding the review.
A record of the application can be viewed online or at the Licensing Authority’s offices during regular hours.
A spokesperson for Greenwich Council said it is “not appropriate” to comment at this stage, due to it being part on an ongoing review.
The spokesperson added: “A report will be published ahead of the Licensing Sub-Committee public hearing on Tuesday, August 26.
“The meeting will also be recorded and made available online.”
