The borough will receive £158,216 from the government, announced to coincide with World Homelessness Day on October 10.
The extra money is aimed at helping councils across England prevent homelessness, reduce rough sleeping, and improve outcomes for vulnerable households.

The funding will be used to support children experiencing homelessness.
The government is providing an extra £84 million for homelessness and rough sleeping services, with the overall amount for 2025/26 now exceeding £1 billion.
In London, more than £35 million has been allocated through different programmes.
