The agreement will see Lockers Park School in Hemel Hempstead formally join the Harrow family of schools, deepening more than a century of close connection between the two institutions.
Both schools will maintain their separate and distinctive identities, with Lockers Park keeping its name, site, uniform, and distinctive ethos.
Alastair Land, headmaster at Harrow School, said: “We are delighted to welcome Lockers Park School into the Harrow family.
“Together we will build on the strengths of our like-minded institutions while maintaining our separate and distinctive identities and character, building on the best of each school’s rich history and heritage.
“This new partnership will allow us to strengthen our offering together with our combined resources.
“We are very much looking forward to deepening the close ties that have connected us over the past 150 years.”

Lockers Park will continue to support boys aged four to 13 from its Hemel Hempstead campus, while sharing educational and pastoral expertise with Harrow.
The partnership aims to combine their co-curricular strengths and broaden opportunities for pupils and staff.
Gavin Taylor, headmaster at Lockers Park School, said: “Joining the Harrow family represents a positive and carefully considered step for Lockers Park.
“With this announcement we are bringing together two schools with shared values and a commitment to the development of character, scholarship and opportunity.
“Lockers Park will remain true to its distinctive ethos: purposefully small, values-led and focused on the formative education of boys.
“This partnership strengthens our foundations, supports our staff, and provides greater clarity and opportunity for our pupils as they progress beyond Lockers Park.
“We are proud of our community and excited about the next chapter of the school’s story.”
The agreement is not expected to affect pupils’ senior school choices. Lockers Park will continue to guide families toward the most suitable next steps, and Harrow will maintain its existing admissions process for all boys wishing to attend Harrow.
The partnership has been approved by the boards of governors for both schools and is expected to be formalised during the spring term of 2026.
