Anita Nicole, a former student of St Gregory’s Catholic Science College in Kenton, will take the lead as Clara in The Nutcracker Noir, an immersive reimagining of the traditional festive story.
Miss Nicole said: “I’m delighted to share some more exciting news.
“I’ve been cast in my biggest role to date, playing the lead role of Clara in The Nutcracker Noir by Secret Theatre.
“The Nutcracker Noir is an epic adaptation of a classic Christmas tale.
“Prepare to be transported into a fantastical, wonderful world with an outrageous dining banquet at its core.”

The production runs from November 25 to December 21 at Protein Studios in Shoreditch.
It is directed by Richard Crawford and choreographed by West End director Gary Lloyd.
Ms Nicole studied at The BRIT School before transitioning from music to theatre.
She played the UK’s first Black female Prime Minister in the musical Hoodminister, which debuted at the Canada Water Theatre during the Peckham Fringe Festival.
