The academy saw 83 per cent of entries graded A* to C, with 23 per cent securing the top A* to A grades.
The average grade across vocational subjects was a distinction.

Charlie Davis, a young carer, scored three A grades and will be going to the University of Bath to study accounting and finance.
Meanwhile, Ilias Nibou, who persevered through a bereavement, achieved A*, A, and B grades, and Fatima Ali scored A, A, and B grades.

They will be studying at the University of Warwick and SOAS respectively.
