From December 1, ten stretches of road will see a speed limit reduction from 30mph to 20mph.
The change follows an order made by the London Borough of Haringey under the Road Traffic Regulation Act earlier this month.
The general effect of order will be to implement the reduced speed limit on the lengths of road detailed below.
- Great North Road, N6/N2 – A 20mph zone will start from a point outside the common boundary of No.2/4 Great North Road N6, northwest to the boundary with the London Borough of Barnet.
- Ferry Lane, N17 – From a point approximately 15 metres east of the junction with Station Road, east to the boundary with the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
- Fortis Green, N2/N10 – A speed limit of 20mph will be in place from the junction with Queens Avenue, west to the boundary with the London Borough of Barnet.
- Lordship Lane, N17 – From the junction with High Road, N17, to its junction with Bruce Grove.
- Lordship Lane, N17/N22 – Another 20mph zone will come into effect from a point outside No.80 Lordship Lane, N17, west to its junction with High Road N22.
- Muswell Hill, N10 – From the junction with the Muswell Hill Broadway roundabout to its junction with Park Road/Priory Road.
- Priory Road, N8 – From December 1, a 20mph zone will be enforced from the junction with Muswell Hill/Park Road to its junction with Middle Lane/High Street.
- The Roundway, N17 – From its junction with Walthoef Gardens to its junction with Lordship Lane.
- Boreham Road, N22 – The speed limit will be 20mph from the junction with Lordship Lane to its junction with Westbury Avenue.
- Westbury Avenue, N22 – From the junction with Lordship Lane to its junction with High Road/Green Lanes.
