The Met Office has forecast fine and dry days for the coming week in and around Hampstead Heath with not a shower in the forecast.
Sunshine and temperatures in the teens are predicted until April 8, with the warmest day to be Friday with a top temperature set to be more than 20°C.
Early risers today woke up to fog patches which have cleared, with temperatures rising to around 16 °C.
Wednesday is expected to be another fine and dry day with plenty of sunshine.
The temperature will climb to 18°C on Thursday and possibly as high as 22°C on Friday.
The weekend promises to be sunny with Saturday set to be the warmer of the two days.
Met Office chief meteorologist Paul Gundersen said: “The UK will have a sunny start to April this week.
“Temperatures will slowly build, with highs of 21-22°C possible by Thursday and Friday.
“At this time of the year, we do start to see higher UV levels, so if you are outside enjoying the sunshine do think about protecting yourself from the sun as even in April it is strong enough to burn your skin.”
