Apapale Adoum, 39, of no fixed abode, was charged on June 5 with the murder of Victoria Adams.
He appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on June 6 and is due to appear at the Old Bailey today (June 10) having been remanded in custody.
Police were called to Coulter Road at 10.13pm on February 9 after reports of a man trying to force his way into a flat.
Officers entered and found Victoria, who had died.
Adoum was arrested the same night at the scene on suspicion of murder.
