Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called to Hackney Road at 9.30pm on March 16 with reports of the incident.
Ambulance crews, an incident response officer, paramedic in a fast response car and a paramedic from the tactical response unit were dispatched to the scene.
Two cars were found to have been involved in the crash, and five people had exited the vehicles prior to the arrival of the emergency services.
One man was treated and taken to hospital.

A spokesperson for LAS said: “We were called at 9.30pm on Sunday 16 March to reports of a road traffic collision on Hackney Road, E2.
“We resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a paramedic from our tactical response unit.
“We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital.”
Firefighters from the London Fire Brigade were also sent to the scene.
