Harvester has confirmed the temporary closure of its site in High Road on its website.
It says: “We’re sorry to say we are now closed, getting a fresh new look.
“You can still make a booking from May 15 onwards, so book ahead to check out our new restaurant.
“If you can’t wait that long to get your Harvester fix, your nearest Harvester during our closure is Harvester Gidea Park, 91 Main Road, Romford.”

A post was made on the Greyhound Harvester’s Facebook page yesterday (April 23) confirming the closure will be until May 15.
It added: “Keep an eye on the page for any updates and sneak peeks in the mean time, and we can’t wait to re-open our doors to our guests soon”.
Speculation began when April Mehmet posted a picture of the building covered with scaffolding in a public Facebook group on Tuesday.
As well as the Gidea Park branch, other nearby Harvester restaurants include in Abbs Cross Lane in Hornchurch and in Beehive Lane in Ilford.
Harvester have been contacted for more information.
