The bakery store in High Road has closed permanently.

A picture was posted by April Mehmet in a public Facebook group on Tuesday (June 10) showing the Greggs branding taken down from the top of the store and a metal shutter pulled down across the shopfront.

The Recorder has been told that this branch had come to the end of its lease and therefore has closed permanently.

All employees have been located to other nearby Greggs outlets, this paper understands.
