Officers were called to the knife attack in Blissett Street around 5.30pm yesterday (March 25).
A man was taken to hospital where his injuries have since been assessed non-life threatening.
There have been no arrests, but an investigation is underway.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called shortly after 5.30pm on Tuesday, March 25) to reports of a stabbing in the vicinity of Blissett Street, SE18.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and a man was located with stab injuries – he was taken to hospital where his injuries were deemed to be not life-threatening or life-changing.
“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.
