Sheila White pleaded guilty to causing serious injury to a woman by careless or inconsiderate driving while behind the wheel of a Hyundai i10.
It followed an incident on Green Wrythe Lane in Carshalton on July 14, 2023.
The pensioner, of Carshalton Grove, appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 28.
White was given a one-year custodial sentence, suspended for two years.
She was also given a one-year driving ban and must pass an extended test before she can drive again.
White was also ordered to pay £500 compensation to the victim.
