Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called at 11.29am this morning (January 30) with reports of a stabbing in Green Wrythe Lane.
Ambulance Crews and a paramedic in a fast response car were dispatched with London’s Air Ambulance, known for treating London’s most seriously ill patients.
A teenage boy was found injured at the scene and was taken to hospital.
Cordons have been put in place in the surrounding area, causing a partial road block in the wake of the incident between St Johns Road and Aultone Way.
It is unknown at this stage whether the police presence nearby in Buckhurst Avenue is connected to this morning’s stabbing incident.
We waiting for a response from the Metropolitan Police to clarify this.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.29am today (30 January) to reports of a stabbing on Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton.
“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews and a paramedic in a fast response car. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a teenager at the scene and took him to hospital.”
